Although now superseded, these Schools Packs, put together by the DTI, still contain useful information: Key Stage material such as background notes for teachers on the Gunpowder Plot, Firework Festivals around the World, fireworks and the law, Bonfire Night texts and poems with teachers' notes, support notes on fireworks leaflets and posters, etc. The Speakers' Notes contain information to help anyone called upon to speak on fireworks and fireworks safety: a brief history, fascinating facts, common sense advice etc. Click on the graphic to view the material, or right-click and choose 'save-as' to download a copy to your computer. |
